How to check what process is blocking another proc

Hi All,
Anyone who knows on How to check what processid is blocking another process? I
did check using:
onstat -g ses xxxxx, where xxxxx is the session id.
onstat -g sql xxxxx
onstat -u|grep xxxxx
I've seen some processes with status "L--BP---" and L--P, these are the
process that being blocked.I also noticed that xxxxx process has no "SQL
statement status except "-".
All i want to do is to identify what process makes the other processes blocked.
If it's a select from sysmaster table, that would be fine.. if it's onstat, it
would be fine too.
onstat -k
will show you all locks on tables and data. You can see from those waiting
to lock the same resource what's being blocked. Just look for 'x' exclusive
locks. There's an equivalent sysmaster query on syslocks, but I'm too
groggy to retrieve it this AM.

Here is the sysmaster query I use...
select tabname[1,20], l.owner, s.tty[1,15], pid, l.waiter
from syslocks l, syssessions s
where waiter is not null
and l.owner = s.sid
order by 2,4
Thank you Art and Dave. My pleasure having you around to share infos. Regards,
In OAT under the performance menu you can run the report called "Waiting Session Report". John F.
