Guess I didn't make myself clear enough
What my CIO has tasked me to look for is client server tools for Informix such as these that are available for Oracle: Oracle's Oracle Enterprise Manager Platinum's DBA Advantage Quests SQL Navigator Developer 2000 Designer 2000 Those are the type things that I need help in finding and researching. I know some of you out there are probably using these types of tools. So please be kind enough to let me know what you are using, or what you know is on the market. Platinum's tools are available for Informix Dynamic Server, IDS also comes with IECC, Informix Enterprise Command Center, an NT server management and monitoring tool. Informix has ROM (Relational Object Manager) available for free download. ROM is a set of tools for querying and maintaining a database's schema and triggers and procedures that runs on WinNT and Win9X. Also almost all of the schema/ERD software, such as ERWin, works well with Informix. Developer 2000 is like a crippled version of Informix Dynamic 4GL so you have that and ISQL available as well.
