Walter, I am running 7.23uc6 and AIX4.1.5 to support SAP, our database is 26GB, and yes, informix does seem to grab alot of memory. Without additional shared memory segments we are running at about 850MB. Around closing time we may allocate an additional segment for our backups. As far as performance, we are doing OK.
