Help, can't connect with ODBC

We developed an app using NewEra and connected to an Informix 7.2 DB running on AIX from a specific Win95 client. We also connected to the DB with a VB program using ODBC. From another Win95 client however, we have literally spent days and have not been able to make it connect. We can ping the AIX box containing the Informix DB, but when trying to connect to it with ODBC get 'ODBC Driver (Informix driver) Attempt to connect to database server (servername) failed. Connection Refused'. I am at a loss for things to try. I used SetNet to make the Informix DB the default, made a tcp entry in c:\\windows\\services; created a hosts file with tcpip address and server name, but don't know what else I can try. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. I have found the manuals to be absolutely worthless - all 40 of them. I am new to Informix, so a place to go to get help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. RobKraft@msn.com
