I wasn't sure if this has been mentioned or not - I don't remember seeing it. Just so no one else will have as much fun with this in the future - Make sure when your installing upgrades to your informix online engine that you also install its updated rev of ISTAR or INET. If this is not the case then you will recieve the error. 926:INFORMIX-Online is not licensed for distributed data access. All other tools are backward compatable. ISTAR and INET are not. 5.01 engine will require 5.01 ISTAR. Mikea
