Solely responsible for overall design of the billing management system; 2. Provide direction to other team members during system development; 3. Ensure deadlines are met; 4. Use Powerbuilder, Informix/SQL and GUI tools to code, maintain and create databases for the billing system; and 5. Develop user manuals and ensure that proper support and training is provided. Qualifications -------------- 1. A minimum of two years' SQL with Informix/SQL strongly preferred; 2. Two years RDBMS; 3. Minimum one year C/UNIX experience; and 4. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS. Profile ------- Company is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the most experienced staff of professionals. The call center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week without the necessary staffing and scheduling demands of live operators. Company relies on the speed and reliability of the RISC-based processors, utilizing the latest RISC-based machines such as the IBM RS6000 (AIX) and the HP 9000 (HP-UX). These machines support a strong UNIX operating systems in a client/server environment. Company also employs the latest High Availability Technology (HAT) through IBM's HACMP and HP's MC Service Guard. Company's programming is specialized in voice processing applications and provide leading edge touch-tone voice recognition and voice capturing through the use of audiotext, text to speech and speech to text format. Most of the applications are built using C and relational database technology. All applications reside on proprietary Voice Response Units (VRUs) built and maintained in-house. These are based on Intel's Pentium microprocessors which provide the greatest speed and reliability for front-end performance. In-house capabilities allow client to enhance their interactive software in a real-time manner through the use of modular design. Systems are tied together on an Ethernet backbone utilizing TCP/IP, SNA and X.25 technology.
