Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your responded. Our front end Business application is Baan.
When we upgrade patches and some tables' definition get change. Baan
required us to run their program to reorganize the table. The program
is dump the data to file then drop the table then recreated it base on
the new definition of the table.
That's why the view got deleted every time the table gets dropped.

Ahhhh Baan - I hear horrible things about it's treatment of the database ;-) I guess you'll have to capture all your view schemas and re-apply manually. Sorry, the lunatics seem to have taken over this thread because they ran out of medication on another thread - NOOOOOO!!!!!! The clown was just being "ironic"
