Weird DATE stuff in I-SQL forms !?!

I'm getting some weird stuff happening in I-SQL forms. If I enter a date in a date column on a form, go to the next field, come back to the previous field and hit Control-D to clear, then go to the next, the date 12/31/1899 is displayed in the "cleared" field. A co-worker working with another application on the same Unix machine is also having problems with his ace reports printing NULL dates with a USING clause. He's getting 10 spaces and it's screwing up some of his reports. Anyone have any ideas why all this is happening? (I set DBCENTURY=C and still got the strange behavior.) As regards the null DATE, 10 spaces is usually correct if you're using some variant on DY4M/ as the value of DBDATE (or, rather, the format string uses 10 characters, typically because it prints 4 digits for the year, 2 digits for each of month and day, and two separators). Any older behaviour which didn't do that was probably a bug. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h> PS: please send me a reminder of the rsqbreak() problem details to my office email; I've forgotten what we were discussing a couple of weeks ago (addled brain; 14 month old infants do that to you!)
