How do I do this? I've tried setting TAPEDEV to \\NUL and \\\\.\\NUL, but it says it can't find the tape device. What do I need to set it to do fudge a Level 0 or send some logical logs down the pan. Davin P.S. If anyone says "Get a decent operating system, like Lynux", I'll personally come round and beat them senseless with a wet fish. This is a problem a friend is having, not me...honest. you should use Linux instead... no wet fish, please - just kidding.
I use
TAPEDEV NUL
and it works great for me.

Modify TAPEDEV from //./NULL to NUL

TAPEDEV NUL
