Re: AARRGGHH with a short A

Being a human animal subject who finds difficulty driving out old behavior I would recommend simpiflying the AARRGGHH solution by requesting NEW codes for (N)EW and (R)UN so they don't double up for (N)EXT and (R)ESTART. When I am tracking down a hot problem my fimble ningers just get to operating faster than my mind. And if I had a "Are you sure you want to destory the morning, Jerk?" I'd find myself coping with my erroneous and ill-timed "N" for New, followed by an "N" for No or "Y" for --Now, does that really mean I want to abandon this or does it mean "Yes, I want to hold on to this undying syntax. How about replacing (N)ew and (R)un with (F)resh and (G)o which are typed by a different hand than the dreaded N or (B)egin and (X)ecute which would create some angst for those of us who love the language lovers (and B is awfully close to N.) or (W)rite and (T)est which are both left handers and are even up an extra line above N, but unfortunately suggest that our work is never done. I guess (T)ry would create even more anxiety. This approach has the charm of only requiring a menu change and supplying no intervention for prompts or whatever. Yes, and where do we send this request, Jack? -- Con Woodall Colorado St. U.; Veterinary Teach. Hosp.; Ft.
