Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Careful with that first size. Index space allocation is made according to
fextsize. Better to select a smaller fextsize followed by a large nextsize.
load the table, and then alter the nextsize downward. If you load the
tables one by one, there is a good chance that the second extent will be
'appended' to the first extent instead of being created as a separate
extent.

Not in IDS 9.2x, although I take the point that the original question was
about 7.31.

Is this a tautology? Maybe not.

Clarifications please? Are you saying that 7.31 does it, but 9.21 doesn't
(and here's the crunch for the future) 9.XX will never do it, future 7's
won't do it? Or can we expect this behaviour to arrive in 9.31 or equiv as
the sources are shared and it will stay with us into the future until
something new is invented?
