Hi , Thanks to all who have reply to my question on tbstat -p having -ve values. Summary : From the replies there is nothing seriously wrong and to ensure the values don't overflow, tbstat -z should be run periodically. Then the bad performance issue.. the optimiser calculates -ve numbers from the system tables and then choose the inappropriate access paths. -ve numbers appearing in the system tables may be caused by a bug in the Logical Volume Manager after update statistics is executed. for more info...Jim Gordon at jgordon.ssf-sys.DHL.COM Best regards, Cynthia Leong, Hewlett-Packard, Singapore. cynthia@hpsgcip1.sgp.hp.com
