ROM and Client SDK installation problem

Hi, Environment: Win NT 4.0 and Informix 7.14 on HP-UX 10.01 I installed ROM and was working fine. Today I tried to install Informix Client SDK on Win NT 4.0 and ran into trouble. These two products insists to install the software on same "INFORMIX" directory. The problem here is each product will generate its own "uninstall" directory. So the last product to install will have trouble overwriting its uninstall information. I renamed the uninstall directory of the 1st product and successfully installed the second product (this created uninstall directory for itself). But when attempted to execute I got the Dr. Watsons Application Error! I tried to install the second product into a different directory but this time the software alerts me for the "INFORMIXDIR" environment variable, stating that either of products will not work! Its a catch 22 situation. Any help please? Thanks in advance. Regards .. Mahesh G.
