Informix-Net, SQLwindows and a bad malloc()?

Hi, we are trying to migrate our SQLwindows 5.0.1 apps to 5.0.2, and some very nasty little bug bites us on every try. At some arbitrary function call, mostly a Sql[FetchNext][Prepare|AndExecute] we get this big dialog box stating that "some undetected error ocurred ..." (Win3.11) or a "API recursively entered" (Win95). Sometimes the debugger hangs a few lines before that specific line. If I restructure the code, the error appears somewhere else. We are connected to Informix 6.x by I-Net 5.0.1 WF1. Now, if you ask me I say it's some dynamic alloc failure in either the Informix-Router or the gateway, but noone asks me :'-( We can't port the app to another DB, and all tries to strip-some-code-and-see-what-happens were unsuccessfull until now.
