esqlcgi, how to use INFORMIXSERVER with web freeware?

I'am running Informix 5.xx ISQL 4.12, and trying to run example1/customer from my browser. I changed INFORMIXDIR to /usr/informix, I could not find any reference to the INFORMIXSERVER env variable in my "older" database documentation. The closest thing that I could find was DBSERVERNAME and since that is set to ONLINE, I changed INFORMIXSERVER to that. Needless to say the example program does'nt work. I got it to spit out the html form. But I get "unable to attatch to shared mem" messages when I run the cgi as a POST. My httpd and Informix run on a HP. Anyone successfully run the shareware example with the older database? -- "No matter what is is, It's gonna cost you 200 Dollars, If | that's what it is."
