Q:Auditing Infx 7.1OnLine, To capture sequence of transactions.

Hi Informix wiz's I was wondering how informix supports Auditing, on the 7.1 OnLine server. Looking at the manuals gave me very little information. I had extensively used Audit trails in Ingres. I hope Informix has something similar too. The real problem: I have a huge software system that accesses Informix 7.1 Online. I am required to build a chart of, How each program accesses the DB tables (Ins, upd..etc) and what tables does it access. The solution I hypothesis is 1. To write a parsing routine to parse thru the code (Monumental task) Too many embedded libraries. 2. Audit the database while executing each program.(piggy back on QA testing) and extracting info from the audit trail. I do understand that this way might leave out some paths the program never took because of the input data set. (But that much I may have to compromise, Something is better than nothing) I WOULD WELCOME YOUR COMMENTS ON THIS SECOND STRATEGY!! or if you know of something better, please let me know.
