Error 922 on Informix running on Linux

Hi, I need some help from people who have been successful in running Informix products for SCO on Linux. After installing SE 5.00.UD1, isql 4.11.UC1 and 4GL 4.11.UC1 from SCO on Linux 1.2.13 and getting the binaries (isql,dbaccess) running successfully I am now at the point where I get the 922 error (Cannot get name of current working directory) whenever I try to access a database.The file permissions are ok, DBPATH is set.This happens for a database I copied from a SCO system and for any new databases that I created on Linux.The creation itself runs smoothly without any problems.
