Bug when compiling .4gl sources with -a option in 7.32.FC2
Posted in 2004
Hello, i tried to compile a file with the -a option (we're using the flag -a for all our files while using version 7.20.UE3 of 4gl tools). c4gl -a m_flaeche.4gl cc: Error: m_flaeche.ec, line 45237: In this statement, "a" is not a member of "ma_fl_region[ibm_li b4gl_arrayBoundCheck(...)][ibm_lib4gl_arrayBoundCheck(...)]". (needmember) _sqibind[0].sqldata =(int1 *)&(ma_fl_region[ibm_lib4gl_arrayBoundCheck(fgl_modname,9341,(l_land)-1,1 6)][ibm_lib4gl_arrayBoundCheck(fgl_modname,9341,(l_region)-1,10)].a); the original line from the sources is: DISPLAY ma_fl_region[l_land, l_region].agflaeche So c4gl is eating some chars (maybe a fixed buffer or something else). Is this a known problem? I have a case open because we have some more strange effects with the -a options. There is some other source file where the compiler eats more and more memory and finally crashes with a core dump. Greetings, J'rg
