Keep in mind Access cannot be used as the "server" in a client-server environment. It can be used as a "server" in a file-server environment. In other words, multiple users can simultaneously read/write the same Access mdb file, but *all* processing occurs in the memory of the PC, not on a central server. Reading/writing Access from Informix doesn't seem like a good strategy to me. Reading/writing Informix from Access is much better. Good Luck!
