Just for fun :o)

Purely a joke thread, with no technical problem or resolution. A poster ran the first page of IBM's Informix roadmap white paper through an online "authentic vs. machine-generated text" classifier, which rated it inauthentic (32.7% chance of being genuine human text). Others ran his own Usenet post through the same tool, scoring even worse (14.6%), and the thread drifted into banter about the site's surprisingly high Alexa/Google ranking and jokes that IBM marketing jargon reads like machine output.

I went to http://montana.informatics.indiana.edu/cgi-bin/fsi/fsi.cgi -- to detect whether text was written by a human or machine generated. I grabbed the first page out of the Informix roadmap here: ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/software/data/informix/pubs/whitepapers/informix-roadmap080204.pdf Result? This text had been classified as INAUTHENTIC with a 32.7% chance of being authentic text :o) -- Bye now, Obnoxio Information within this post contains forward looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933 and Section 21B of the S E C Act of 1934. I intend to recover my loan now, which could cause the parliamentary majority to go down, resulting in losses for you. Today's Labour party has: an accumulated deficit and a reliance on loans from officers and affiliates to pay expenses. It is not an operating political party. The party is going to need financing to continue as a going concern. A failure to finance could cause the party to go out of business. In context the average web site out there is around 3,000,000. Their Google rank is a 3/10, so they must have had this site sitting there for some time. Very curious how they got their site so high up the food chain--especially when it doesn't have much going on with content or keywords.
