We started using Informix using the Dos 2.10 range, and Inet to a Sun server. There was lots wrong with that whole Dos port, but Informix didn't seem to care. We kept logging bugs, and in the end it kinda dawned on us that Informix weren't able to care. It was as if the man who wrote it had left, and taken all the sources too. Yes, we have an application written in Wingz, which we ported to HSTools 1.0 and now find that the database interface is incompatible with HSTools 1.10. It seems none of us ever learn. -- =-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-=-~-= Andy Lennard andy@kontron.demon.co.uk Kontron Instruments Ltd, Blackmoor Lane, Phone: +44 1923 245991 Croxley Centre, Fax: +44 1923 412211 Watford, Herts, UK.
