OWS 7.20.UC2 on Sun 5.5.1 ?

re: Sun/Solaris 5.5.1 & Informix 7.20.uc2 Just wondering, is there anybody out there that has got OWS to install on a Sun/Solaris 5.5.1 system? I got a case open with Informix where there is a seemingly simple error in the instlows program that does not do the check for disk space correctly. After spending much to much time just attempting to get the problem explained to informix I finaly get the timeless answer that your system must be messed up. So I installed a brand new, right out of the box Sparc-5 with Solaris 5.5.1. I still have the same problem. The error is so simple, I get it right up front after entering the INFORMIXDIR path name (/usr/informix). "Insuficent disk space". The doc's(000-7953) suggest a minimum space of 40 megs. I had 250megs free. Since informix support could not get past my system being in error I just kept finding more disk space and when I hit the 1 GIG (free) point the instlows program worked. No mods/patches to the sun or informix except the ones for tuning specified in the "Workgroup solutions release notes (unix server products) 08/12/96". I figure something so simple on a Sun right out of the box must have been hit by someone else. If I have to install on a 1 gig disk and move it back to the /usr partition everytime I run this I will get perturbed quickly. Please e-mail any replies... (the list is big) ,, thanks,, Tim
