The problem is, I don't want the user to scroll past the last element of the array. I want to wrap around back to the 1st element: options accept key F1 options delete key F34 # "disable" this operation options accept key F35 # "disable" this one too call set_count(nelements) input array myvalues without defaults from screenvalues.* before row if arr_curr() > nterms then # # I shouldn't have gone this far. Make me wrap around! # What do I do? # next field {??????} # what is legal here? end if on key (ESCAPE, INTERRUPT) # bail out let int_flag = TRUE exit input end input My questions: 1. The call to set_count() does not seem to stop me at the nelements'th item in the array, which is why I had the BEFORE ROW clause in the first place. Am I doing anything wrong?. 2. How can I set the NEXT FIELD to an element in a scrolling array? BTW, we are running Informix On-Line v4.00-UH1 and likewise for R4GL. Thanks for any advice you can give me.
