SQL : Insert into TEXT

I'm in need of an example of how to insert data into a TEXT large object column? Do I need to reference a file on the file system? I'm using IDS 7.3 on SunOS 5.6 thanks. Charly Bauer charly@ohiolink.edu Columbus, OH
