ODBC Order Problem

When access to Informix with ODBC (i.e. Access) # I can not Sort by a row. The eror message tells anything like: ---> sort field must be in the select list But when I look, the sport-field is in the Select-part of the statment. Any idea, what could be wrong

It is some quirk in Access. Something about ACCESS only selecting the primary key columns in the back end. Search the IIUG archives of this newsgroup for old messages that reference Access and ORDER BY. Art S.
