Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Can anyone tell me how I can map a shared memory segment id (2nd column of
ipcs -a on Solaris) for an instance to a SERVERNUM value? I was under the
impression that SERVERNUM is the decimal equivalent of the hex ipcs value
but this does not seem to be the case on my machine. The reason why I ask
is that there seems to be some rogue segments floating about and I want to
identify them properly, before removing them
TIA
