I'm new to Informix and ODBC. I'm trying to export MS Access table(s) to
SE 7.2 using Intersolv ODBC drivers. I intend to use Access as a
front-end to SE. In Access most of the field names are MixedCase but
when I export the table the field names all get converted to lowercase
in SE and then my apps in Access don't work when I link to these tables.
My question is:
Is there a way to preserve the case of field/table names when I export
the tables using ODBC? I've tried several ODBC drivers and found that
Openlinks' multi-tier ODBC drivers preserve the case of field names. I'm
wondering if I could do the same with Intersolv drivers or perhaps maybe
configuring SE.
TIA, Nitin.
