You can use the dbinfo() function (described on p. 1-690 of the Guide to
SQL:Syntax) to get the dbspace where one of the system catalog tables of
the database in question resides.
Strictly speaking, an entire database doesn't have to (and rarely does,
if you have a non - trivial disk layout) reside in one dbspace. The
dbinfo() command can give you that information on a tblspace by tblspacebasis.
