I had an intuition about this some days ago, having received no replies to my first call AND after considering some facts they are tedious to explain here. "It will be possible": The 4.1 release is expected by May '92; let's say by July (at least) here in my country. Hmmm... If we delay the delivery of the software until that date, severe damages can occur (a rope, a tree and some good boys hanged). This appears to be our policy in the interim: we'll simulate the Blobs with files, putting the managing routines at the very bottom in the structure chart at the design stage, taking great care in determining the coupling conditions. We'll start with this monster (with FTPing and so on) until the arriving of the 4.1 Release (Mesiah!!). Then we'll replace the monster, preserving the coupling and, with good wind, we expect some sort of success, or the rigor mortis (R.I.P.). Any comment will be GREATLY appreciated.
