RE: semaphore tuning
I would agree. We had MT_EX_OS (mutex exclusive...?) issues a couple
years back on IDS 32 bit. Informix had to help us debug it... And we
had to apply a patch. I do belive that informix also told us what to
watch for such that we could act quickly in the event the problem
happened again.... So our system could be as productive as possible
until we could get the downtime for the patch upgrade.
Informix support is very good. Flood them with info... You'll end up
with someone on the phone or logged into your system who is very very
good!
