Procedure bug?

Hello, Informix Users. I'he EXECUTE permission on DBA-procedure which DEFINEs its parameters in LIKE table.column notation. But this procedure doesn't work if I have no SELECT permission on the table used in LIKE clause. The question is: WHY??? When I run DBA-privileged procedure, I have all DBA rights, yes? Or no?..
