query of variables in a Illustra table

Hi, We have a (nice) problem: We have a table with name of variables in it. We write a query for it (in a illustra web datablade), we get the name of the variable instead of the wanted value. e.g. <?MiSQL SQL="select K_NR from EG;"> $1 <?/MiSQL> K_NR is the name of the variable, but we want to show the contents of it.
