User Licensing Question

I have a simple question about user licensing using INFORMIX 5.0 with a 16 user system? Informix told me that you could have up to 5 sql processes per user and not voilate the user license. If I run isql in the background 16 times, no other users can access the system. Is this information incorrect about 5 users per license? Thanks in advance! Michael Mstowski msm@seas.guw.edu
