finish report printing error - need help

I have a program that is freezing in the finish report command. 99.9% of the time the program runs fine. However, for a very specific range of data the program runs fine until the finish report command is executed at which point the program freezes and control is never returned from this statement. The on last row statement executes (as indicated by a complete report being written to disk) but the report never prints and control is never returned to the calling funtion. Specifics: We are using informix version 4.10 on sco unix 5.0 We send all of our reports to file then route them through lp or pg to send the report to the printer or the screen. The program freezes for a specific date range (10/04/96) of data, ordered (in the report) by date. If the program is run for a greater date range (10/03/96 - 10/04/96) the program executes with no problem. If the program is run for the specific date range (10/04/96) but ordered by salesperson instead of date, the report executes with no problem. The report freezes no matter whether the report is sent to the printer or the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Daniel
