very simple table structure:
CREATE TABLE booleano (
id SERIAL UNIQUE,
nombre VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL CHECK (nombre <> ''),
apellido VARCHAR(100) NOT NULL CHECK (apellido <> ''),
cargo INT,
activo SMALLINT, -- 1 activo, 0 inactivo
FOREIGN KEY (cargo)
REFERENCES table1 (id_cargo)
);
I can't recall now (would have to check it out) if the search is on the cargo
column or the id column, but it doesn't matter because both are indexed and
of the same type.
