Get session id for OLEDB connection?

Hi Informixers, is it possible for a Visual Basic application connecting to IDS via OLEDB to somehow get its own session id for the active connection? If so, how do I do this? I couldn't find anything in the Informix OLEDB programmer's guide or in the Visual Basic (6.0) docs. I find the Informix OLEDB and ODBC driver documentation a bit lacking, and threads in this newsgroup about such topics tend to be rather short. Any hints for resources where such questions might be more on topic or get more and better attention? Regards, Richard

I was so caught up in the ADO connection properties that I didn't even think of the good old Informix mechanisms. Thanks for pointing that out to me. Regards, Richard

No worries, we all succumb from time to time. Art S. Kagel > Regards, Richard
