Hi all Just 3 curiosities.... 1) How many of us are running a version of informix on a Linux Box?(a guesstimate will do) 2) What is the main purpose for it, for my part it was to have a RDMS being accessed by a web application. Are people just moving that way because it's free? 3) Why does a group like this not follow Mark D. Stock's advice and vote for a Linux port. Or mail informix directly (and daily) until a response is generated.(tis but a suggestion...) I ask this in response to the number of messages sent regarding if it can be done and how. I have been involved in it and have seen SE and ONLINE v5 installed (unfortunately not 7.xx) - come on informix : I want (an official) Linux port...
