Speeding Up Foreign Key Creation

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to make foreign key creations run faster for very large tables? We are migrating a large XPS database to IDS. The data loads, index and primary key creates are running fast, but the foreign key creation statements take forever on the large tables. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
