SPL error

Topics: Stored Procedures & SPL
Hi, I am new to SPL. I have the following store procedure
create procedure asd()
end procedure
--> store procedure created successfully
create procedure asd()
returning integer;return 1;
end procedure
--> error found in "returning integer;"
Notice the error will only happen on first semi colon
Error msg shown --> 201: A syntax error has occurred.
you must end the procedure with semicolon
I did copy and paste your code and ran it on my test server, it worked without any error. I didn't change any single character in this code...not sure why and how you are getting it.. Will you be able to provide us more information like sql version, etc.? Did you use isql or dbaccess to try and create the procedure?
isql still doesn't know about stored procedures -- use dbaccess.
