Sending me email

On the subject of sending me email - please don't. I have received, in the last few weeks, quite a number of email messages requesting help on specific problems. While I spend some spare time offering suggestions/solutions in this forum, I really do not have the time to do so through email as well. If you have a problem, you should be calling Tech Support (which I do NOT work for, btw). If that is a problem for some reason, you should post your problem here. There are several at us in Informix who read and respond here, and coupled with a very knowledgeable user base reading this group, you are pretty likely to get an answer. Sending me email directly will generally only result in a response if the answer is short, and I know it off the top of my head. I am simply too busy with "real" work (the stuff my manager gives me to do) for anything more. Thanks for your consideration on this.
