Excalibur Datablade

I have a document storage system running on one of my LIVE databases that I am experiencing a known problem with which I need to upgrade. As part of the upgrade plan I am attempting to build a test server with said database, recreate problem, upgrade and hopefully, problem will go away. I have a table in the database with 62500 rows containing various columns and a blob field docnum serial taskid char(9) docid char(4) status smallint ... object blob I am trying to create an ETX index as follows CREATE INDEX etx1 on taskfoldobjects (object etx_blob_ops) USING etx (word_support='PATTERN',phrase_support='MAXIMUM',filter='CONTINUE_ON_ERROR') FRAGMENT BY EXPRESSION (docid in ('PIDS','TIDS')) in taskfoldsbs1, (docid in ('MAIL','MISC')) in taskfoldsbs2, (docid in ('TEST','TTEU')) in taskfoldsbs3,REMAINDER in taskfoldsbs4; but I get the following error message (UET31) - Internal Error: (-47) returned from TRL to etxgl_insert_index4 942: Transaction commit failed - transaction will be rolled back. As per a previous thread I have tried unregistering the datablade, bouncing the server, re-registering the datablade and trying to recreate the index but I still get the same error message. Any other ideas ??? Or do I just go for the upgrade and hope the problem goes away :o)) Sue

Did you consider asking in the Datablades forum? There was a question asked and answered in there about Excalibur in the last week or so. If the version you are using is old, then the upgrade is at least a good prospect for fixing the trouble. Otherwise, have you been in touch with IBM Informix Technical Support?
