RE: Help! what is dbaccess process doing after abnormal exited ?
Posted in 1998
Rick,
On DEC boxes if you close the telnet session without closing dbaccess
the dbaccess process will stay around using all available CPU until it
is killed. ISQL does not do this. I kill any dbaccess session with a
parent PID of 1.

I only connect the database thru dbaccess, and then
abnormal exited.
I don't think a rollback.
