Thanks to all who posted me messages. Really, freeing the cursor solved the problem. One moment to add. After freeing cursors Informix doesn't fully frees memory. Perhaps is't usefull from time to time (once 10 or 30 or 60 minutes) to issue 'onstat -F' on UNIX. Best regards, Michael Krasnov
