HDR on a mixed plateform

Hi, I have a general question about setting up HDR on a mixed plateform. I'm running IDS 7.31UD8 on AIX 4.3, but looking to migrate to a new production server running Redhat Linux. Because of budgetary concerns, I am only able to purchase one server, therefore, I need to know if I can run HDR primary on a linux plateform and run the secondary on the AIX 4.3 plateform. No But you can run ER on a mixes platform.
