The driver that I'm using is the Intersolv Informix 5 2.53 16 bit driver.
When I submit the following SQL to the driver using the 16 bit ODBC Test
tool:
create table test(col char(10))
CREATE PROCEDURE toffie ()
insert into test values('sofieke'); END PROCEDURE
{call toffie()}
select * from test
I see that the select returns one row containing 'sofieke'. Pls. note that the
{call <procedurename>(<argument list>)} is the correct ODBC syntax to call a
stored procedure via an ODBC driver. For maximum portability it is recommended
to use this syntax instead of the database specific. Should this not work I
recommend trying the intersolv driver, should it work you should check the
SQL syntax used with your sp.
Toffie.
