PEOPLESOFT READIES SUPPORT FOR INFORMIX Expands Database Platforms for Leading Client/Server Applications WALNUT CREEK, Calif., (October 17, 1994) PeopleSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ:PSFT) and Informix Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: IFMX) today confirmed a joint development partnership to provide PeopleSoft Financials and PeopleSoft HRMS on INFORMIX(R)-OnLine Dynamic Server(TM). The joint development project, which was initiated in June of this year, is a response to the increasing market demand for PeopleSoft's leading client/server financial and human resource management software on the leading parallel processing database technology developed by Informix. PeopleSoft Financials, on INFORMIX-OnLine Dynamic Server is scheduled for a year-end 1994 release, while PeopleSoft HRMS, is scheduled for availability, beginning early first quarter 1995. Development will continue with volume testing, followed by commercial availability.
