As for using cc compiler optimization flags with 4gl generated c code be careful. On an HP9000/835 passing the -O to cc for 4gl generated c code caused the cc to blow up after a very, very long time. The c code generated by 4gl is pretty weird and puts a real load on a c comiplers optimization. +++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ Greg Hogg +++ +++ ++ ++ HOGG'S SOFTWARE +++ +++ +++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ voice : 410-538-7241 ++++ ++++ ++++ ++++ fax : 410-538-6130 ++++ +++++ +++++ ++++ uucp : uunet!halexii!greg ++++ ++++++ ++++++ ++++ cis : 74176,1320 -- +++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++ Greg Hogg +++ +++
