Hi all, Does anybody have experience with the Informix Innovator-C database version? Any comments are appriciated. Thanks! Danny
There not much to experiment. It's the same code, but with several limitations referenced here: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/techarticle/dm-0801doe/ If you can live with the limitations, that's nice. If not, you must consider one of the other versions. Regards. We have been running an 11.7 Innovator-C HDR pair in production for over a year with no issues. Like Fernando says it is the same as the other Informix editions with certain limitations. Some of the limitations make sense and some don't in my opinion, but you can still do a lot with Innovator-C. I wrote a small blog post about the install at http://www.informix-dba.com/2011/04/innovator-c-put-your-money-where-your.html and also wrote some stuff about the limitations there too. Andrew
