-770 (bad fragment id) on a local insert querying

I have a shell script with a dbaccess embedded within, surrounded by two
"date" commands.
Any ideas as to what the -770 is trying to tell me? I don't recall seeing that
message before, nor do I know why it put a "()-" before the error
number/message as that is not in the script. Thanks in advance for any
assistance.

IB that the error is caused by the "()-" string. Look into the script.
