Hi All,
Is there a way on how to retrieve or check a previously executed SQL
statements? I want to know if it can be done... I've check onlog and oncheck
utilities, however, i can't get it.
Is it possible?
BTW, i'm using AIX 5 and IDS 9.4.
thanks,
Ummmm...
Upgrade to version 11.5 and turn on the SQL statement cache? I don't think it
was available back under 9.4

9.40 doesn't keep any SQL history. You can use the SQLTRACE facility but it
is expensive and captures lots of data.
You can use AGS's Server Studio which can capture and record historical SQL
by polling the sysmaster tables. The capture is not 100%, but about as good
as you will get before 11.50's SQL history memory cache.
Another option is Exact Solutions' iWatch which can capture 100% of your
networked (ie TCP/IP etc) traffic into and out of the server and includes
some analytics.
